Kids Zookeeper and Farm Camp

We are excited to announce our 7th season of our very popular zookeeper camp.

We have an incredible 85% return of campers each season! The limited number of spaces fill up quickly so get registered as soon as possible. Groups are kept small so the kids have a great learning opportunity and lots of animal time.


We are licensed by the USDA and Pennsylvania Game Commission and our staff has years of experience with animal care, training and education.

Camp is $225.00 per attendee and we offer a $25.00 discount to siblings and family members.

*Due to allergies and diet restrictions we require children to bring a packed lunch, snack and drinks. Parents will be contacted for approval prior to us serving cake/ice cream if we are celebrating a birthday.

Registration will remain open until the dates fill up. We encourage anyone interested to register as soon as possible because space is limited. We keep the groups small so participants get plenty of time learning and interacting with the animals. Participants are not left unsupervisedat any time and we stay together as a group.

Our camp itinerary is kept flexible and based on the group interests and needs. We take great pride in offering a unique experience tailored to each group. Each day starts with light cleaning and preparing diets for a different group of animals so the participants get a good understanding of the care that is given to an animal or pet. We will also do:

  • Educational talks about our animals
  • Animal education games
  • Visiting educators and their animals
  • Animal related and nature demonstrations
  • Animal related crafts
  • Grooming and safe handling practices
  • Basic medical care (if the group is interested)
  • Lots of free time interacting with our animals

 

For the safety of participants, our staff and animals, your child must be able to understand and follow instructions and be able to sit/stand for various periods of time throughout the day.
